While the Chicago scene has arrived on the national scene over the course of the last five years or so, it has done so without the involvement of one of it’s earliest breakout stars in the one and only Bump J who returns today alongside Ty Money for the video “Yes or No”. The widely-beloved rapper missed out on capitalizing on the previous wave led by Kanye, Twista, Lupe and the like after being caught up for his part in a 2007 bank robbery that landed him behind bars for the better part of the last decade. He finally was released earlier this year and has been a regular in studios across the city, even popping out at WGCI’s recent Summer Jam at the United Center. It seems that everyone is behind dude, excited to see him take advantage of his most recent chance and he impresses for sure on this first leak. For his part, Ty is a perfect accomplice here and acts as a well-suited counterpart on this one.
