Proving the staying power of his third consecutive summer, the G.O.O.D. Music wordsmith delivers once again with a tightly-wound release that continues his understated yet meteoric rise.
This collection is a particularly hometown affair with features from G Herbo, King Louie and Vic Mensa sprinkled throughout the eight-song tracklisting. Dude is just super consistent, there’s not a ton left to say really. Since emerging in 2016 with “Shell” he has consistently proven to be a diagonal in the game, possessing a rhyme scheme that others can only hope to try. The beats are oversized per usual, the bars as clever as can be: Valee’s on a run there’s really nothing else to say here.
