Joey Purp is back again. To be honest, we haven’t ever seen or heard anything from the kid that hasn’t been a home run, and for his single “Bag Talk” he appropriately did not disappoint. Alongside the video’s release was an announcement of an upcoming project, QUARTERTHING, meaning Purp is definitely in album mode. It’s been two years since his critically-acclaimed iiiDrops and this video comes just a week after his single “March 12th”.

“Bag Talk” serves as the opening shot for the project, which has yet to get a release date and finds Purpose linking up once again with frequent collaborator Yakub Films. The pair spent a lot of time together on Purp’s last tour where Yak was the on-site videographer pumping out super talented pieces on an almost nightly basis. It seems that hustle has paid off, as Purp once again tapped his creative eye for this striking new visual that perfectly sets the tone for what’s to come. “Only see the snakes when you keep your grass cut.” Tune into Mild Sauce Radio to catch “Bag Talk” streaming everyday!
