If you’ve spent even a passing glance here at Mild Sauce and Mild Sauce Radio, then you should already be aware of the pairing of Na$im Williams and SiSi Dior. The first guests on our Mild Sauce Live talk show, they’ve since gone bout executing a plan they clued us into just under a year ago, which continues today with the release of their joint single, “B2K” which we’re proud to premiere.
The song is the latest from the duo since dropping their Twilight Zone project back in February with an associated remix situation. Since then, they have hit a tour that saw them touch both coasts, have built a loyal following through a mixture of sounds and aesthetics and have generally laid the groundwork for a new independent hustle moving forward. This auto-tuned single comes at a transitionary time for the Chicago natives following a long summer. “B2K” finds both in a decidedly different sonic landscape, but its one they’re comfortable in. Much has been made of artists like CupcaKKe, Saweetie and others bringing attention back to the woman MC, and locally SiSi has been doing exactly that for some time. Here, she demonstrates her range and offers up something just right to get your weekend moving.
