At the top of this summer we were introduced to a new voice from the city in the form of Afro Kitty-Jones who made a splash with her solo debut, Supa XLikewise, A name that began gaining momentum a calendar before took a similar step forward as Austin Fillmore debuted his #ThinkLessFeelMore project around the same time. Because of those two releases, we had both on one of our Mild Sauce Live livestreams, where they met alongside Rich Robbins. The result of that chance encounter manifested itself today as the two-song EP release, Bonnie & Clyde.

Sporting some artwork that truly underpins the name, the pair of singles are a step in different directions for each. Fillmore stepped onto the scene with the uptempo footwork anthem, “Juke” whereas Kitty has begun establishing a name for herself as a multifaceted singer/songwriter. Those variant sides find one another in sinewy fashion on these two, perhaps an inkling of what’s to come. Check out both songs streaming above and as always hit Mild Sauce Radio for all your Chicago Music 24/7.
