Mulatto Beats has been a consistent producer on the scene for the last few years and appropriately returns here with a much-anticipated full-length debut, .22 Summers which puts the former Hurt Everybody beat maker front and center. He’s not alone though on this one, which operates both as a showcase of Mulatto’s ability and as a sort of compilation of what and who is happening on the scene currently. Included in the credits are a who’s who of local up and comers including Trapo, Warhol.SS, Mick Jenkins, Qari, King L and more. The single, “Self Destruct” featuring Lucki came out six months ago and has since racked up hundreds of thousands of streams. Clocking gnat ten songs, this one is absolutely digestible, packing a healthy helping of fresh music into a short space. Check it all out above.
